Hello & welcome
Some of our friends and family call us Kruger obsessed, and given that you're reading this on a website we made to help you explore Kruger and the app we built for that same purpose, they may have a point.
What it's all about
To us this project is a way of sharing out deep appreciation and love for the park with you. If we can help make someone's trip a little easier, more fun, or less stressful that's great. If we can help someone fall in love with this magnificent place then we'll be thrilled.
Maybe it gets you into birding, maybe it gives you the confidence to self-drive the park, maybe you find yourself having a quick look at the sightings board every now and then, even when you're home. Maybe you browse and explore places you have never been and that makes you want to book your next trip. That is what we want, more people experiencing and loving the park.
Our credentials
Over the years we've spent thousands of hours exploring the park, writing, taking photos, coding, and thinking hard about what content and features would be most useful to you. Many late nights, weekends, and early mornings went into building KrugerGuide and we hope we got it right and that you'll really enjoy using it and reading what we have to share.
The journey
The road here has been about as bumpy as some of the corrugate dirt roads in the park but we've made it this far and plan to keep on sharing our stories and improving the app. If you spot something out of place, glaringly wrong, or want to request information or a specific feature please reach out. What's next?
While we're continuing to make updates and improvements to the app we're also going to be spending time creating lots of articles and content here. Everything from super useful guides to super silly stories about our adventures and misadventures in the park.
And who knows, it might be time to get stuck into exploring some of the other stunning parks South Africa has to offer.
